De naam “Granaat” is afkomstig van het Latijnse woord granatus, en refereert aan malum garanatum, oftewel granaatappel. De rode zaden van de vrucht lijken sterk op de kleur van de edelsteen. De Granaat is de steen voor de maand januari. Ook de sterrenbeelden Ram, Leeuw en Schorpioen passen goed bij deze steen.
Alle sieraden worden handgemaakt. Houd er rekening mee dat, indien in nabestelling, de verzendtijd 3 tot 5 dagen in beslag neemt.

The name “Garnet” comes from the Latin word granatus, and refers to malum garanatum, or pomegranate. The red seeds of the fruit strongly resemble the colour of the gemstone. The Garnet is the stone for the month of January. Also the zodiac signs Aries, Leo and Scorpio fit well with this stone.
